The course contains ideas relevant to seven key empowerment factors that are currently utilized by highly successful teachers. The course also includes information on desirable character traits of excellent teachers. Of equal importance, the course content also reviews powerful instructional strategies, specific approaches to use in developing curriculum and effective ideas on classroom management.  After completion of this course, participants will be able to utilize the seven key empowerment factors of highly successful teachers, identify many of the character traits of highly successful teachers, employ additional instructional strategies, develop new approaches to curriculum design and incorporate effective classroom management techniques.

Advanced Placement Summer Institute 2020

Ohio University Chillicothe will host its 20th annual Advanced Placement Summer Institute July 20 – 23, 2020. The Advanced Placement Summer Institute introduces teaching methods, student exam expectations, and curriculum content needed by teachers of AP® courses for high school students.
