Ohio University Majors
Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Certificate Program
Program Overview
The undergraduate certificate in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) offers students an opportunity to engage in a rich academic program that addresses gender and sexuality and their intersection with race, class, and other aspects of diversity. The certificate is comparable to a minor in that it requires about the same number of credit hours. The advantage of the certificate is that it is interdisciplinary, allowing students to study issues relating to gender and sexuality from a variety of perspectives. As such, it provides an excellent complement to the wide variety of undergraduate majors available at Ohio University.
