Community Classes & Workshops

All face-to-face Community Education classes and events are suspended at this time, due to an abundance of caution regarding COVID-19.

OHIO Southern staff are working remotely and are available to answer inquiries and correspondence via email.  Please reach out to us at ous_community_ed@ohio.edu.

OHIO Southern Community Education offers personal interest classes that are open to the general public. These non-credit courses are generally offered at the Ironton Campus or the Proctorville Center, where participants learn in a relaxed, accessible environment.

To request an ASL interpreter or other accommodation to attend any of these events please contact Teresa McKenzie at mckenzt1@ohio.edu or Robert Pleasant at pleasanr@ohio.edu no later than one week before the event. For additional information contact Community Education at ous_community_ed@ohio.edu or call 740.533.4588.
