Hailee Tavoian Profile Picture
Hailee Tavoian
Director of Communication and Marketing

Hailee Tavoian earned her B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and M.A. in Strategic Communication both from Southern Utah University. As the director of communication and marketing, she oversees project management, client services and professional development of seven staff members while also leading division-wide tactical marketing solutions. Before joining SACM, Hailee worked in the Division of University Advancement where she strategized and lead communication and marketing efforts for the OHIO Alumni Association, The Bobcat Store and The Office of Gift Planning, as well as produced written and multimedia content for Ohio Today magazine.

As a side hustle, Hailee is an adjunct instructor in the E.W. Scripps College of Communication, teaching public speaking, advocacy, and argumentation. She enjoys crafting, Pilates and getting lost in a great story whether through books, live theatre or on screen. Hailee and her husband Dallin, a Ph.D. student in the Heritage College, welcomed twin daughters in Dec. 2018.

Assistant Director of Strategy

Erika Clusman works in client services and marketing strategy within the Division to produce comprehensive campaigns that serve students and elevate the student life brand at OHIO. 

In her former role with the Career and Leadership Development Center, Erika facilitated the professional enhancement of students and alumni through oversight of marketing, communication and event planning; and, as a trained counselor, she offered one-to-one support through career and leadership coaching.

Before joining Ohio University, Erika’s career included Peace Corps service with a placement in rural Mongolia, and a role with the award-winning production company, Participant Media. Erika earned her Master of Education in Counseling and Career Development from Colorado State University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Columbia College Chicago. She is currently seeking a master’s degree in design with the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University. Erika’s favorite thing in life is to learn a new skill or complete a unique challenge.

Nicole Lovins Profile Picture
Nicole Lovins
Assistant Director of Design

Nicole Lovins earned her B.A. in Graphic Design with a minor in Fine Art and M.B.A. both from Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio. With her attention to detail and creative direction, she oversees the design team as an Assistant Director for the SACM team. In this role, she coaches staff, graduate students and undergraduates on best practices in design, while managing the creative workflow and visual direction for all division projects. Before centralization, she was a member of the Event Services team serving as their source for marketing and design for major university events and initiatives such as commencement, Leadership Awards Gala, Kennedy Lecture Series and Frontiers in Science. She is currently working on her M.A. in Visual Communication Management at Ohio University, focusing on web development.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys painting, baking, spending time with her dog and listening to a wide-variety of music. Need something different to listen to? She’ll have a suggestion.

Amanda Moline Profile Picture
Amanda Moline
Assistant Director of Strategy and Social Media

Amanda Moline is a Bobcat through and through. She graduated from OHIO with a BSJ in Strategic Communication, a Marketing Minor, and a Social Media Certificate. Amanda couldn't stay away from Scripps College, as she is currently pursuing an M.A. in Organizational Communication. She has completed a variety of public relations, marketing, and communication internships with organizations including the Ohio State Fair, District 6 of the Ohio Department of Transportation, and OHIO Campus Recreation.

Amanda previously served as digital communications manager for Culinary Services. In her current role, she manages all communication and marketing for Culinary Services and Housing and Residence Life, in addition to leading social media strategy and execution for the division.

Amanda enjoys exploring new cities with her friends and family. She recently moved to the Columbus area and loves checking out new restaurants and events downtown. Despite her love of Columbus, she always chooses Rufus over Brutus. Go Bobcats! 

Alexandria Polanosky Profile Picture

Assistant Director of Content

Alexandria Polanosky is an Ohio University School of Visual Communication alumna. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science and certificates in both environmental studies and food and society, Alexandria was an AmeriCorps volunteer for the Appalachian Center for Economic Networks, a local non-profit. She continued her work there as a multimedia designer while also freelancing for various non-profits and businesses across the Appalachian region. Her work has taken her through the foothills and hollers of West Virginia, Southeast Ohio, Virginia and Kentucky, and though she left Athens for a few brief summers, she never quite could say goodbye to this small town and the OHIO community. Outside of her work with the SACM team, Alexandria enjoys playing with her cat, Snacks, being outside as much as possible and eating good food.

Steph Fiorelli Profile Picture
Steph Fiorelli
Content and Social Media Manager

Steph Fiorelli is passionate about using her writing and analytic skills to create strategic marketing materials. She is a two-time alumna of Xavier University, studying marketing, communication and entrepreneurship as an undergrad and earning an MBA with a marketing concentration through Xavier’s Emerging Leaders program. During her time at Xavier, she was a social media manager for various study abroad trips, Xavier’s Center for International Education and the university’s chapter of Active Minds. 

Most recently, Steph worked at a Google Premier Partner doing digital marketing to sell software and hardware, but she is thrilled to be back in a university setting!

In her free time, Steph enjoys knitting, baking, reading fantasy novels and singing along to musicals. She often travels back to Cincinnati to visit her twin nephews, play with her two dog-nieces and get a bite of the finest food in the world, Skyline Chili.

Design and Web UX Manager

Kailee Slusser earned her B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Ohio University. She has since spent several years in Athens working with local non-profits, small brands, and the University. As an artist, her objective is to make a positive and meaningful difference wherever design takes her. She enjoys designing audience-centered experiences, organizing content, Jurassic Park movies, nerdy puns, and the Oxford comma.

Linda Weiss Profile Picture
Linda Weiss
Production Manager

Linda Weiss was the eighth child of 11 born to her World War II forced labor camp survivor, Italian mother. Her family lived in rural poverty in Guysville, Ohio. Linda was awarded the David Diles Scholarship and Eleanor Gifford Scholarship, which contributed to her dream to attend Ohio University. True to her goal, she received her bachelor’s degree in communications from OHIO in 1984, and throughout the years she has continued to develop her extensive print and digital graphic design skills. Outside of her professional work at OHIO, Linda enjoys spending time with her husband, Jerry and their adult sons, Andrew and Isaac, as well as other family members, doing things that make her mother happy, her flower garden, taking pictures (she has been labeled as paparazzi at family and friend gatherings), and teaching the Bible to interested ones.
