Remote tutoring is available either via TutorTrac or by calling the Academic Achievement Center at 740.566.8888. Your tutor will send you an email including a link to your tutoring appointment, which will be a Teams meeting. You and your tutor will be able to use chat, audio and/or video features, share documents, and work together on the whiteboard.
Student Writing Center
The Student Writing Center is open online to Athens Campus students who need writing assistance. You can schedule an appointment 12 hours in advance by using TutorTrac or by calling the Academic Achievement Center at 740.566.8888. All undergraduates can also make an online drop-in appointment by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and requesting the next available tutor (you may have to wait in a queue until a tutor is free). Either way, your tutoring appointment will be an hourlong Teams meeting, during which you can share your writing assignment and use the chat and audio features to discuss it with your tutor.
Online Learning Navigation
Online Learning Navigators are available to assist you in managing the online learning experience. These peers work with you to prioritize assignments, navigate Blackboard, and develop strategies to stay on top of your studies while taking classes remotely. You can set up an appointment with a navigator through TutorTrac or by calling the Academic Achievement Center at 740.566.8888. Your Navigator will send you an email including a link to your appointment, which will be a Teams meeting.
