Our guarantee is your path to success.
The OHIO Guarantee+ is our way to invest in your success, for life. We have long provided level-rate tuition, housing, dining, and fees locked in for four years (12 semesters including summers). Now, we’re rolling out individualized graduation plans that ensure on-time and on-plan graduation, or we’ll make it right, including covering the cost of additional courses if necessary. Plus we’re expanding access to alumni-only scholarships for continuing education as well as career counseling for life.
Generous Scholarships and Grants
Our generous scholarships and grants represent our commitment to investing in students like you. These awards include renewable merit-based scholarships, need-based scholarships and grants, and awards based on criteria that include academic performance, financial need, or both. We also provide scholarships for diversity and access, fine arts talent awards, and upperclass scholarships to award academic success once at OHIO. No separate application is necessary--your application to OHIO serves as your scholarship application. Apply by the November 15 Early Action Deadline for best consideration.
OHIO offers other scholarship opportunities for first-year and continuing students. Generous scholarships also are available for transfer, regional, and international students at OHIO.
A comprehensive approach to aid
In 2019, 89% of OHIO students received financial assistance such as grants, loans, scholarships, and/or Federal Work-Study. Comprehensive financial aid award letters include all types of financial aid students are eligible to receive. Award letters also outline annual costs to provide families with their out-of-pocket costs, allowing for transparency and financial planning.
